So like usual it's been a long time since my last post....sorry. We've been keeping really busy. Since the last post I've gone to the States and back and had a few weeks down here filled with a lot of catching up with people and camp.

I had a lot of fun while I was back in Pennsylvania for my Christmas break. It was great having Christmas and spending time with my family and friends. It was also good to catch up with people at church.

Our first week back down here one of my pastors from my home church Charlie Walters came down and taught a week on Biblical Counseling. It was a good time for my small group that I have to open up with each other.

The second week back we all went to camp. In Costa Rica basically the whole month of January is camp month. Due to the students having classes we were only able to go one week. A group of about 80 kids ages 6-12 from our weekly ministry were able to come out to camp and hear the Word of God. We had a great time furthering and deepening our relationships with the kids. I was able to find out more about their lives, background, home life and many other things because of this week. Each week going back to Tirrases my love for the kids in that area only continues to grow. There were a few kids that were leeched on to me the whole entire week. I definitely put in my time of piggy back rides and little kid games. My 'team' that I was put in was maintenance which basically I was paired up with a team of 8 other Ticos and we kept the camp and cabins clean.

We're keeping really busy here at the Villa lining up our missions trip to Nicaragua and for the parent's week. In two weeks about 30 parents are going to be down here for  a long weekend for them to get a little taste of the program. We've been working hard getting all the final details ready for that.

Thank you to everyone that has been keeping the GAP students and I in your prayers.

  • continue to pray for spiritual growth of both students and staff
  • pray for the kids that we have interaction with every Saturday in Tirrases
  • prayer for guidance of our futures
  • financial support
